Once upon a time, there was this personal blog...
And quite frankly I hate writing about my everyday life as it is boring. Why would anyone want to read about it? I have a LiveJournal that I have for that which I have a tendency of forgetting. A lot. Which is why I have decided that instead of writing about myself on this blog (All previous posts have been marked as drafts) I am going to instead post my short stories, artwork, poems and other such things instead.
Sounds interesting? At least I hope it does... They have to be better than my own life. I have a few saved up right now that I have been working on for awhile so I'm thinking for now maybe one short story a week? I hope to write more and maybe even one day I will post a longer story on here.
Now, dear reader, you may be asking yourself why am I posting them on here? Especially since I have a link to my Deviantart account. The answer is quite simple, actually, you see while Deviantart is good for gaining the attention of other artists, writers, photographers and such things it isn't all that great for drawing general audiences. Plus if I am to be quiet honest Blogger has the added bonus of having access to Google's Adsense. Which means I may be able to get a bit of an income for my time though as I said that is just an added bonus and one I may not even qualify for.
What I want more than anything is to have a bigger audience than what I have. I love telling my stories to people and getting their responses to it. The problem is I do not have many people, there are a few, that would be interested in my stories. Thus I have decided to grab the attention of an internet audiences such as yourself.
Besides just short stories I may post reviews on the various books I read, any writing advice I can give, and maybe a random thing about me once in awhile just in case something urgent comes up. Like I end up in the hospital, knock on wood, or something like that. Just in case you are interested in learning more about me I will add a link to my LiveJournal account, but as I have previously stated I do not update it very often.
